James Sellick and Hannah Tarpey – a student team who graduated from MA Creative Advertising in 2012 are now busy working at the top London creative ad agency Mother http://www.motherlondon.com Lately, they’ve been working on the Ikea account and came up with a nicely bonkers TV idea that they called The Joy of the Kitchen. Here’s the commercial http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/campaigns/thejoyofthekitchen.html
The guys flew out to the middle of the Costa Rican jungle (nice work if you can get it) to shoot the ad at a Rescue Centre for Jaguars – the animals not the cars, duh. Here is the ‘behind-the-scenes’ video of how it was done – featuring H & J covered in cute little monkeys.
Never let anyone tell you working in advertising is boring.
