As writers and producers of award-winning radio commercials for many, many years, what these two don’t know about the medium isn’t worth talking about. ‘Experts in the field’ doesn’t begin to describe it. The day starts with basic ‘rules’ and premises and moves on to tricks of the trade and pitfalls to look out for.
Of course, the process is very similar to writing for TV, so a lot of the learning can be applied there too. As Clive Anderson once said, “radio is just like TV, except the pictures are better”.
